Fanø west coast is a landscape in constant change - Søren Jessen Sand is in the summer characterized by sand which drift in the wind, in winter also by storms and floods.
Furthest out on Søren Jessens Sand you can get the very unique experience of desert climate and the North Sea in combination. An experience which equivalent is not available in many other places.
By Grådybet we can get a sense of the enormous amounts of water which every day is transported through the Wadden Sea. Do you have a small dambuilder in you - this is the place to challenge it. Especially children tend to have a lot of fun by building dams to guard against the tide.
On the way out, we will take notice at some of the bunkers posts involving in Fanoe's importance in Hitler's Atlantic Wall.
In addition to this, you get a few good stories about spectacular strandings.
This is a trip that has it all: The Wadden Sea in all its power and might, WW2 importance of Fano - and the history of former times seemans-life.

The tour is suitable for older children - 8 - 10 years and up.
All children are welcome - but if you have small children with you – you should bring a shovel and a bucket - so they have something to play with along the way - there is plenty of sand!
The trip can be implemented by anyone, but are mostly in loose sand and is therefor not carrycot / pushchair friendly.
People with walking disabilities can borrow an electric wheelchair with balloon tyres - send us a text (+ 45 30 20 25 43) - then it will be waiting for you.
Remember sunscreen with a high SPF and something to drink - if the weather is hot.
Similarly, a windbreaker or rain jacket is a great idea - if it is windy. The terrain is deserted - so there is not much shelter.
